In a Wednesday post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: "I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THIS WOMAN, WHO MADE A FALSE AND TOTALLY FABRICATED ACCUSATION, IS. Trump, who did not attend the trial, plans to appeal.

Yesterday was probably the happiest day of my life," Carroll told ABC's "Good Morning America." While jurors did not find that Trump raped Carroll, it awarded damages over the incident and over a post last October on Trump's Truth Social platform in which he called Carroll's claim a "complete con job," hoax and lie. It also provided vindication for Carroll, 79, who in 2019 publicly accused Trump, 76, of raping her in a Bergdorf Goodman department store dressing room in the mid-1990s. The verdict in Manhattan federal court represented a fresh legal setback for Trump as he seeks to regain the presidency in 2024. Jean Carroll said on Wednesday she felt "fantastic" after a jury a day earlier found Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming her, and awarded her $5 million in damages in her civil lawsuit against the former U.S. The East-West synthesis evident in these articles reflects my many years of work and study on both sides of the Pacific Ocean, and my lifelong interest in how to improve the human brain.NEW YORK, May 10 (Reuters) - Former Elle magazine advice columnist E. Interestingly, much of the recent neuroscience research confirms that many of these ancient Eastern practices do result in greatly improved brain functioning. In addition to being supported by recent research of the human brain in the Western world, the articles in this book are also influenced by my knowledge of mindfulness and other ancient practices from the Eastern world.

This book is a collection of those articles.

A few years ago, I was invited to write a series of articles for publication, with exactly that goal. I see a need for simple, clear, accessible explanations of how to apply brain-based practices to greatly improve how we work and conduct business, so that everyone can benefit from use these discoveries. However, very few people outside of the neuroscience community understand these discoveries well enough to take advantage of them or apply them to their own lives in a way that gets meaningful results. For those of us directly involved in this research of the human brain, it is a very exciting time. Neuroscience research is producing an almost constant stream of new discoveries that are unlocking the secrets of how our brains work.
